Literacy through Multisensory Teaching offers a sequence of courses leading to certification by the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA). These courses are accredited by the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC), the only nationally recognized network for such programs.
Classes are offered in both Manhattan or via Zoom Classes in Manhattan are held at 461 18th St in Chelsea.

Introduction to Literacy through Multisensory Teaching, Part I(LMST) 55 class hours
Provides professional development in the structure of the English language as well as a multisensory curriculum based on Orton-Gillingham principles.
Next class beginning via ZOOM Summer, 2023 (9 days)
Dates are as follows: July 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12 and 1 additional day in each of the months of September, October and November

Introduction to Literacy through Multisennsory Teaching, Part II 55 class hours
A continuation of the Introductory course in addition to providing support services to teachers for implementation of the curriculum in a classroom or individual setting

Advanced Literacy through Multisensory Teaching, Part I 55 class hours
Emphasizes higher level concepts and skills in teaching the language curriculum
Next class beginning Summer, 2023 (2 weeks)
Advanced Literacy through Multisensory Teaching, Pt II55 class hours
A continuation of the Advanced course in addition to support services.
